Be a Volunteer

Volunteers are at the heart of Habitat's work. They help acquire land, raise money, provide public relations services, serve as speakers, nurture homeowners, and provide meals and refreshments, in addition to helping build houses. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with God and families in need. Volunteers are involved in most phases of construction, and are taught the building skills needed; no experience necessary!  By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the joy created when a family is able to realize their dream of home ownership.

You don't have to put on a nail apron or swing a hammer to help Habitat! Also essential are volunteers who can serve on committees or help with special projects--everything from providing lunch for the work crews, to helping plan the annual Gala fund-raiser. Whatever your ability or gift, you too can Help Build It!
